How do we see?
- Light travels into your eyes in a straight line after reflecting off objects.
- The reflected light then passes through the cornea, into the pupil and through the lens.
- The light is refracted by the cornea and the lens to focus on the retina.
- The light is converted into electrical impulses by the photo receptors on the retina.
- The optic nerve carries the electrical impulses to the brain.
- The electrical impulses are processed by the brain which creates an image.
